   SGT Iliana Rentz  


              Sgt Rentz joined the Army in 1992, it was a life dream for her. She served in Korea and in various places within the United States. She went on to finish her degree and futher her studies. Sgt Rentz's love for her country led her to join the Reserves Special Operations Command to be part of the Civil Affairs community. Soon after attending the John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School Sgt Rentz deployed to Iraq. There she attained combat management experience in strategic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and leadership skills. She was responsible for field, flight, maintenance, equipment, training, and planned and directed cooperative operations between the U.S., Iraqi Forces, through direct leadership of multinational teams. She was one of few women assigned to foward operating bases on special civil affairs teams.  During her 12 years of service, Iliana earned a Bronze Star, Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medals, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary, GWOT Service, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense, Korean Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Serv ice Medal 

           Sgt Rentz currently works for Florida Power and Light where she is responsible for budget development and oversight including detailed analysis, cost control, monthly forecasting and reporting. She is married to Tripp and has two wonderful daughters, Kiana and Alexa. She and her family have dedicated their lives to the service of our Country and God.
