Dan Hart served his country as a Military Police officer for his first tour. Upon re-enlisting, he realized that electronics and computers were the wave of the future. Taking advantage of of the available options offered by the Army, he sought training in electronics and computer technology. He received his Basic Electronics and went on to serve an additional tour in Germany with the 108th MI Battalion. Dan served 8 years. For his service he received the Good Conduct Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.

Dan used his traing provided to by the military and his own natural ability to further his understanding of electronics and computer networking.  He has receive numerous awards in this field and has been recognized by Cisco for his efforts in this industry. He now serves as a Field Service Technician for Fujitsu Transaction Solutions, Inc.

Dan's sense of pride for his country and himself is manifested through his children. He and his wife Jody, who also served in the US Army, have been married 27 years. The proud father of three sons - Christopher, 21, who became an Eagle Scout and currently serves as a Combat Medic with the US Army.  Son Stephen, 19, attained the ranking of Eagle Scout and attends Maine Maritime Academy studying International Business. And Nicholas, 15,  who is a Life Scout and a junior at Sanford High. Dan and Jody still call Springvale, Maine home.
   
   
Each person who serves our great country is a hero in our eyes.
