Sergeant Lee Longe

Lee Longe served a total of 12 years of active and reserve duty in the US Marine Corps retiring as an E-5. While being trained to be an Aircraft firefighter-Rescue tech, and a structural firefighter, Lee was involved with MABS-12-MAG-12.

 Lee quotes  "Our life was always fast paced and danger was always at our backs. We constantly worked as a team, and placed our lives in the trust of our friends. "   For his service Lee was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Navy Unit Accommodation, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.  Since Lee's retirement from service he has served his community by volunteering as an EMT for his local fire dept for 23 yrs and secretary of the Marine Aircraft Fire-Fighter and Rescue.   In civilian life, Lee works at for a large paper mill as a heavy equipment operator.  The proud father of three daughter and grandfather to three grandsons, Lee and his wife reside in Maine.  Thank you for your service Lee. Each person who serves our great country is a hero in our eyes.
