Specialist Helen Berndt Retzer

Helen Berndt Retzer enlisted into the Airforce in 1991 upon graduating High School from Port Washington.
She completed her basic traing and continued on for a four week training school in Aero Space Physiology at Brooks Air Force Base in Texas. Upon completing her training, Helen was stationed at Beale Air Force Base in California working with U-2 Aircraft Crews She performed tours of duty that took her to Saudi Arabia, Korea and the Mediterreanean theater of operations during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Helen returned home to Cedar Grove in 1994 where she and her husband Brian raised their family.
