Wisconsin: US Army SPEC4 Thomas H. Werner Thomas H. Werner enlisted into the US Army in 1970. After completing Basic Training at Ft. Campbell, KY and Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri he shiped out to Vietnam.Trained as a Combat Engineer and stationed with C Company of the 92 ND Engineer Batallion, his job was to build road, bridges and clear landing zones. Thomas quotes " I learned what true freedom was and would never want to lose it. I truely beleive you back your country, right or wrong, because the alternative would undermine our nation." During his two years of service Thomas was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal. He now calls Muskego, WI his home.
